Dooley has been awarded a three year Magnet Assistance Program grant for Global Studies.  This grant encourages collaboration between Dooley Elementary School, Lindsey Middle School, Jordan and Poly High Schools.  It will also enable our school to apply for International Baccalaureate status at the end of the third year of study.  The International Baccalaureate Organization recognizes schools that provide programs designed to promote inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people.  Through curriculum development, student assessment, professional development and program evaluation, Dooley will create a school-wide plan that encourages students to become lifelong learners by providing an education in which they can construct meaning through concept-driven inquiry.  Critical thinking and collaboration are the cornerstones of learning at Dooley Elementary School.
